EMULSIFIER FOR EMULSION EXPLOSIVE

PURPOSE: An emulsifier comprising polyalkenyl epoxide, poly amine and acidic compound is provided to prepare water-in-oil emulsion explosive. The emulsifier formed at low temperature without chloride gas improves stabilities in longtime storage, impact, and especially low temperature by preventing crystallization of oxidant. CONSTITUTION: The emulsifier comprises polyalkenyl epoxide(A) including at least one epoxide ring, poly amine(B) having at least one nitrogen atom and at least one acidic compound(C) enabling the formation of salts from a reaction with amine, and prepared by mixing reaction product of (A) and (B), (C), and optionally organic solvent such as toluene, xylene and hexane at 60-90deg.C for 1-3hrs. The emulsifier polyalkenyl epoxide is represented by chemical formula 1, where m is an integer of 1-10; R1 is alkyl derived from polyolefin with 200-5000 of molecular weight; R2, R3, R4 and R5, being identical or different, are C1-C10 alkyl. Polyamine is represented by chemical formula 2, where R6 and R7, being identical or different, are C6-C10 of hydrocarbon including an aromatic ring or C2-C10 of alkylene; R8, R9, R10 and R11, being identical or different, are respectively H, C6-C10 of hydrocarbon including an aromatic ring, C1-C10 alkyl or hydroxyalkyl, -R12-OH(R12 is hydrocarbon including an aromatic ring of C6-C10 or C1-C10 alkylene); r and s, being identical or different, are an integer of 0-10. The acidic compound is one compound of inorganic or organic acid selected from the group consisting of HNO2, HNO3, HCl, H2O2, HF, CH3COOH, benzoic acid, acrylic acid, stearic acid, etc.
