PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion excellent in adhesion or sticking to various substrates, storage stability, resistances to weather, water, and solvents, etc. SOLUTION: This dispersion is prepared by compounding (I) an aqueous dispersion prepared by dispersing a block copolymer comprising (A) polymer blocks formed mainly from an olefin monomer and (B) polymer blocks formed from 2-100 mol% vinyl monomer having a carboxyl or carboxylic anhydride group and 98-0 mol% other vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith in an aqueous solution of a basic substance in an amount of 0.05 equivalent or higher per equivalent of the carboxyl or carboxylic anhydride group with (II) an aqueous dispersion or solution of a vinyl polymer.
