PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fixedly fit the attaching inner cylinder of a backrest to the attaching outer cylinder of a stool body via a fixing cylinder and easily remove the backrest only by drawing out and inserting a coming out stopping pin. SOLUTION: The attaching inner cylinders 6A and 6A of a backrest 4 are fitted into and fixed to the inside of attaching outer cylinders 9 and 9 of a stool body 2 by inserting fixing cylinders 12A and 12A into the attaching outer cylinders 9 and 9 of the stool body 2, securing secured protruded portions 18 and 18 of the ends of the fixing cylinders 12A to the ends of the attaching outer cylinders 9, further inserting the attaching inner cylinders 6A and 6A extended from both side portions 5 and 5 of the backrest 4 to the outside of the fixing cylinders 12A and 12A into the attaching outer cylinders 9 and 9 and inserting them into the openings of the attaching inner cylinders 6A in a state that a coming out stopping pin 19 is passed through a fixing cylinder head pin hole 20 emerging out of the openings of the attaching inner cylinders 6A.
