PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition comprising as a rubber component an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer rubber which maintains mechanical characteristics at satisfactory levels and is suppressed in gel formation, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises the following components (A) to (C), where the content of the component (B) is 0.01-0.1 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component (A) and the content of the component (C) is 0.02-0.3 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component (A), (A): an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer rubber, (B): a compound represented by chemical formula (I) (wherein R1 is a 12-24C alkyl group), (C): a compound represented by chemical formula (II) (wherein R2 and R3 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a 1-40 alkyl group).
