<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the stop period for boarding by allowing a user to check in before boarding a vehicle such as a bus. SOLUTION: This boarding system comprises a check-in machine at a prescribed boarding place for the vehicle such as an omnibus, a settlement machine mounted on the prescribed vehicle, a boarding place storage means recording the prescribed boarding place data corresponding to the installation place of the check-in machine on an information storage medium held by the user with the check-in machine, and a calculating means calculating a riding fee based on an alighting place and the prescribed boarding place recorded on the information storage medium when the user riding on the vehicle alights at the prescribed alighting place.</p> |
