<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smooth exhaust valve capable of externally adjusting the spring force of a spring for returning a sub-valve by simple operation, and stabilizing the valve opening of the sub-valve with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This smooth exhaust valve comprises a main valve 8 for fully opening and closing a main passage B, the sub-valve 36 for limitedly opening and closing a sub-passage A having an opening area smaller than that of the main passage B, an elastic member 54 mounted between an adjusting rod 60 advanceable and retractable by screwing and a second piston 37 driving the sub-valve 36 to energize the sub-valve 36 in the valve closing direction, and an operating member 56 rotatably mounted on the adjusting rod 60 from the external, moving the adjusting rod 60 to displace the elastic member 54, and adjusting its elastic force.</p> |
