PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having good electrification rising property and distribution of electrified charges, showing proper electrification property and an image density even for continuous copying, environmental changes or the like and causing little fog or splashing of the toner. SOLUTION: In the toner containing at least resin and carbon black, the absorbance for UV rays of the carbon black is <=0.05.
