SLICING METHOD FOR RESIN BLOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a resin block having fibers retaining gel inside without contaminating the gel due to chips and with deformation of the block and warp of a sliced piece suppressed. SOLUTION: In slicing the resin block where fibers retaining gel inside are regularly arrayed, a cutting blade with a small blade angle 1 is used and the cutting speed is made slow to slice the block. Thus, deformation of the resin block is suppressed to obtain a thin and uniform sliced piece with a small warp.
