PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide single type septic tank which can be diverted to a rainwater storage tank. SOLUTION: Brackets 20 in a proper shape such as a L-shape is fixed on the inner surface of the upper part of a settling and separating chamber 3. In the case of diverting the septic tank to the rainwater storage tank, a flow-in pipe is removed and a flow-in port is closed tightly. A contact material 11 and an air diffusion pipe 12 are removed. Furthermore, beams 21 are arranged between the brackets 20, a water receiving tray 22 is installed on these beams 21 and an overflow pipe 26 is arranged there. A slit 25 is formed on the side face of a rainwater flow-in pipe 24.
