DEVICE FOR OPENING/CLOSING SCRAPER OF RAKING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and inexpensive device for opening/closing a scraper of a raking machine, which can rotate an arm to be rotated in a circular arc state smoothly by simple constitution without receiving the empty weight or tension of a tow rope, can open/close the scraper surely and can make the scraper carry out raking work. SOLUTION: This device for opening/closing the scraper is constituted so that the arm is rotated by the tow rope to open/close the scraper of the sludge raking machine which makes the closed scraper go forward in a settling basin to rake the settled sludge and make the opened scraper come backward. The device for opening/closing the scraper is provided with a tow rope metal fitting which is united with the tow rope and slides vertically with respect to the arm.
