PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ETC apparatus which achieves a prevention of degradation in resolutions as caused byγrays being obliquely incident which are detected penetrating between scintillators. SOLUTION: Radiation (γrays) released from a radioactive isotope(RI) which is dosed to a subject 10 and accumulated at a region P of interest enters a detector module 8 at a position R and also a detector module 8 at a position Q on the side opposite thereto. The detector module 8 has a group of 30 scintillators interlinked optically through a light guide 3 on four PMTs 4 and a slit-like shield 2 with a large X-ray absorption is installed between the scintillators 1 to minimize the penetration of theγrays being obliquely incident so that theγrays alone absorbed at a point near the original position is measured. The resulting signal is taken into a data collection part 20 to be reconstructed at an image processing part 14 and the results are displayed on a monitor 15.
