PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low melting point glass exhibiting high transmittance at the time of being used as electrode coating and hardly causing silver colloid coloring. SOLUTION: The low melting point glass has <=650 deg.C softening point and <=90×10-7/ deg.C average linear expansion coefficient, contains B2O3, SiO2 and CuO and the content of B2O3, SiO2 and CuO are respectively >=11%, >=5% and 0.1-1% expressed by percentage.
