<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media reproducing device able to store media and reproduce them that makes a display device 3 display each of the media in a way that a user can easily and sensitively recognize them and allows the user to refer to and, retrieve the media, and designate the reproduction of the media through the display. SOLUTION: The media reproducing device has a medium reproduction section 4 and an information storage section 9 that stores TOC(Total Of Contents) information and a media display information corresponding to it so that the device captures the media display image through a fetching operation, registers the fetched media display images in cross-reference with each other for the display of the media by each of the media and displays each media display image that is registered on the display device 3. When the user designates an optional image from the displayed media, the device reproduces the medium displayed. Furthermore, when the user makes a prescribed reference operation during the reproduction of the media, the device displays the media display image presenting the medium during reproduction on the display device 3 so that the user can recognize the medium in reproduction.</p> |
