摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hit checking method between objects and a game device using this method provided with a data structure allowing reuse of data representing an object arranged in a thee-dimensional game space and capable of accurately checking a hit in a real time in this data structure. SOLUTION: A reference object is previously defined on a reference coordinate system, and when the reference object is arranged in a world coordinate system in a three-dimensional game space by performing coordinate transformation, the object on the world coordinate system is defined. A hit is checked on the reference object on the reference coordinate system after inverse transformation into the reference coordinate system of the object to be checked is carried out. In the hit check with a polygon inside a block determined to be a hit in the block, a culling sphere including the polygon is previously set in each polygon of the reference object, and by a hit check carried out between the culling sphere and the checked object, the object to be checked in more detail is selected.</p>
