<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate connector of a high-voltage cable, which eliminates leak or discharge by improving insulation around connecting part between high-voltage cables and can simply and safely make connection of high-voltage cables. SOLUTION: An electrically insulating sleeve 14 enclosing a jack 11 is fixed at an end of one high-voltage cable 2, and an electrically insulating connector cover 7 enclosing a plug 5 is fixed at an end of the other. The connector cover is to be of a cylindrical shape large enough to take in the sleeve 14 from its tip-end opening and cover around the insertion-coupling part of the jack and the plug and a female screw part 7c is attached at the tip-end opening. A fastening nut 15 is insertion mounted at an outer periphery of the other high-voltage cable 2 in free sliding movement, whose male screw part 15c is screwed in to a female screw part 7c of the connector cover 7 to push in the sleeve 14 inside the connector cover 7 and to fasten to same. A plurality of brim parts 7d are integrally provided at an outer periphery of the connector cover.</p> |
