PURPOSE: A battery pack which contains a CPU and allows the correction of the measured data is provided, to improve the precision of measurement even when a cheap member is used and to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: The battery pack contains a CPU comprising a main program which obtains data concerning the voltage of a cell, the charge/discharge current and the temperature by measurement to control the charging and discharging and to carry out the cumulative calculation of the remaining battery capacity; a communication program which communicates with an external device; and a correction program which acquires the measured data to obtain a correction factor for calculating a predetermined value and for storing the correction factor in a memory. The state of a cell is set to a predetermined value, the correction program is started to obtain a correction factor and to store it in the memory, the main program corrects the measured data concerning the cell voltage, the charge/discharge current and the temperature by using the correction factor, controls the charging and discharging and carries out the cumulative calculation of the remaining battery capacity.
