<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image exposing head in which unevenness of the intensi ty of light and resulting unevenness of exposure of a photosensitive material are suppressed at the time of focusing the output light from an exposing means having a plurality of pixel arrays. SOLUTION: The image exposing head comprises a shutter array 331 where a plurality of long pixel arrays outputting modulation light corresponding to pixel data are juxtaposed, and a focus means 335 having condensing characteristics varying in a direction parallel with the juxtaposing direction of the pixel arrays. In at least one of the shutter array 331 and the focus means 335, center line in all pixel arrays of the shutter array 331 parallel with the longitudinal direction corresponds to a region where the condensing characteristics of the focus means 335 substantially have an extreme value.</p> |
