PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for correcting distortion aberration of a lens in which distortion aberration of the lens can be rapidly corrected at a low cost. SOLUTION: The distortion aberration of the lens is corrected only by a simple pixel thinning in the horizontal direction and the replacement of the pixel, and the number of the pixels to be thinned for each horizontal line and the influential range in the horizontal direction for complement the thinned pixels are changed according to the degree of the distortion aberration of the lens. Thus, the distortion aberration of the lens can be performed by a general signal processing circuit at a low cost with small power consumption.
