PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic separation device capable of separating unnecessary hardware from an aerospace vehicle without use of a command transmission device, an electric power regulator, etc., only when a predetermined acceleration or higher continues for a predetermined period of time. SOLUTION: By an acceleration sensor, the circuit of which is closed only when a predetermined acceleration or more continues for a predetermined period of time, power is supplied to a motor to rotate it, and an insulator attached to the shaft of the motor rotates. When two contacts contact with the doughnut- shaped conductor attached to the insulator, a terminal is switched on. Then, squib circuit, which has a power source and is operated by explosives, is connected and operated. The operation of the squib circuit causes separation of such hardware as are no more required for the space navigation from the aerospace vehicle.
