PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet housing method for simply and easily replenishing a sheet to a sheet housing device. SOLUTION: When housing sheet bundle housed in an out-fitting box 21 in a paper deck 2, the following procedure is undergone: (1) a sealing tape 22 of the out-fitting box 21 is torn off; (2) one surface of the out-fitting box 21 is removed along perforations, and a paper in the out-fitting box 21 is partially exposed at this time; (3) a housing magazine 3 is taken out to this side, and a front cover 11 is opened; (4) a paper exposed part (a surface) is set so as to butt against a side regulating plate (the inmost side) 115 of the housing magazine by completion of the procedure (2); (5) only the out-fitting box 21 is pulled out of this side surface, and at this time, a lifter 16 is inclined so that the side regulating plate (front) 13 side becomes high, and only a paper part is pressed down by a rear end restricting plate 31; and (6) the front cover 11 is closed, and the housing magazine 3 is set in a deck frame body 4 to complete replenishment of the paper.
