Method for slow motion sequence in an audiovisual broadcast and device to execute the method

Method to detect at least one slow motion of video data in an audiovisual broadcast composed of frames. There is a detecting stage operating on two consecutive frames from the broadcast. The detecting stage detects the presence (M) or absence (S) of a motion sequence. The detecting process is a binary one. It comprises a calculating stage for the slow motion factor. The factor is equal to the movement indicators and the absence of movement. The device to execute the method comprises a storage memory for at least one part of the broadcast, which is show in analogue form.
