The multipass circulation system comprises a bundle of exchange chambers (3 - 3n), each of which has an inlet, outlet and, apart for the final chamber (3n), a return connection. Connection tubes (13, 14) are fitted on the inlet and outlet of the first chamber (3). All the return connections can be connected, cutting off the internal space in all the chambers except the final one and the outlet in the final chamber can also be sealed. An Independent claim is included for a heat exchanger for two fluids comprising a primary exchanger as described above inside a secondary exchanger.
