PURPOSE: A system and a method for machining a telescopic pipe are provided which are capable of machining the telescopic pipe having high productivity and quality and uniformed quality by automating each machining and transferring processes of the telescopic pipe. CONSTITUTION: The system for machining a telescopic pipe comprises a kicker(100) loading a plurality of pipes to be processed(1) and supplying the pipes to be processed in a length direction by separating the pipes to be processed(1) into a plural numbers of them; a plural cutting units(200) cutting each of the pipes to be processed that are supplied from the kicker to a set length; a plural first chamfering units(300) chamfering processing both ends of the pipes cut in the plural cutting units; a plural pipe expanding and contracting units(400) performing pipe contracting and expanding processing on both ends of the pipes that are processed in the plural first chamfering units; a plural second chamfering units(500) chamfering processing expanded pipe ends of the respective pipes which are contracted and expanded in the plural pipe expanding and contracting units; a transfer unit(600) transferring a plural pipes completing unit processes in the respective units to a next unit to each of the units; and a controller(800) controlling each of the units.
