PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce shake in a photographic image caused by the operation of an image pickup device. SOLUTION: This image pickup device is provided with vibration detection means (1 to 4) detecting vibration and outputting vibration information, a system controller (14) detecting whether or not a specified event causing the vibration or the physical conversion of the image pickup device occurs, an actuator (9) for suppressing influence by the vibration, and correction circuits (7 and 8) making the actuator act so as to suppress the vibration caused by the occurrence of the specified event and the vibration detected by the vibration detection means when the system controller detects the occurrence of the specified event. |
