PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for controlling a vehicle an/or notifying a driver while taking deterioration of a tire life in consideration in the case of a tire pressure loss. SOLUTION: A limit speed is set when a tire pressure loss is detected, and a vehicle speed is restricted within the limit speed thereof. In this case, the limit speed is a function of a traveling distance and a lapse of an operation time after occurrence of the pressure loss. If the tire pressure loss is detected, a maximum travelable distance and a maximum operable time allowed to a vehicle having a tire with a reduced pneumatic pressure are decided and indicated to the driver.
