PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an approximately gate-shaped block for a side ditch, capable of being easily installed by virtue of a reduction in operation man-hours. SOLUTION: The block for the side ditch is composed of a top slab 1, which has a large opening 3, and both side labs 2 and 2. Notched parts 5, 6 and 7 are formed at the lower ends of the side slabs 2 and 2 by notching the insides of the lower ends. The block, whereinto concrete is poured from the opening 3, is installed in the state of being arranged on crushed stone 11.
