PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for reducing the cost, minimizing installation space, and which is usable in plural vehicles. SOLUTION: This navigation device is composed of a master machine side navigation unit mounted on a master vehicle and a slave machine side navigation unit mounted on a slave vehicle. The master machine side navigation unit is provided with a position measuring means 11 for measuring a present position of the vehicle, an input means 47 for setting a destination, a read means 13 for reading map data from a map information storage medium 14, an operation means 41 for arithmetically operating information on the master vehicle as plotting data, together with the map data on the basis of signals from the position-measuring means 11 and the input means 47, a display means 45 for performing a prescribed display on the basis of a result of this operation means 41, and a transmission means 52 for outputting the information by radio waves. The slave machine side navigation unit is provided with a receiving means 61 for receiving the radio wave, an operation means 62 for arithmetically operating the information on the master vehicle as plotting data on the basis of the signals, and a display means 65 for performing a prescribed display on the basis of a result of this operation means 62. |
