摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of installing balls into ball grooves by preventing generation of catching even when installing a constant velocity joint having a large allowable swinging angle between an inner race and an outer race. SOLUTION: This installation method for a constant velocity joint 10 has the inner race 50, the outer race 20, a cage 30 and the balls 70. The inner race 50 has the plural inner grooves 52 extending in meridional direction on the outer circumference, while the outer race 20 has the outer grooves 32 of the same number as the inner grooves 52, extending in the meridional direction on the inner circumference. The cage 30 has ball penetration parts 32 of the same number as the inner grooves 52, and each the ball 70 penetrates each the ball penetration part 32 of the cage 30 such that the ball 70 is bridged between a pair of the inner groove 52 and the outer groove 22. When the inner grooves 52 are exposed from the outer race 20 by inclining the cage 30 and the inner race 50 in the meridional direction relatively to the outer race 20, the inner race 50 is inclined after the cage 30 is inclined.
