<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket processor that can improve the efficiency of refund work while reducing the burden of a clerk in charge, and to provide a ticket processing method applied to the ticket processor. SOLUTION: A commutation ticket issuing machine performing refund work by a plurality of refund classifications based on the remaining period of a commutation ticket is provided with a memory 121 stored with a first algorithm for performing refund work by the first refund classification, and a second algorithm for performing refund work by the second refund classification. A CPU 120 computes the amounts of refund by the first algorithm and second algorithm stored in the memory 121 on the basis of the remaining period of the commutation ticket, displays the computed amounts of refund every refund classification on a monitor 105 for a clerk in charge, and accepts the selection input of the displayed refund classification.</p> |
