PURPOSE: A container of variable volume structure is provided to improve the convenience of carrying and storage of the container by allowing a user to easily crush the container with low force at needs. CONSTITUTION: The synthetic resins made container(1) of variable volume structure is formed on a certain portion of the body(5) thereof with a plurality of horizontal and vertical ribs(6,7). The ribs serve to endow the container with a certain strength, and in result, a thickness of the container and the amount of materials can be reduced by virtue of the ribs. In case of disposal of the container, the container can be flattened easily owing to a folding manipulation of the ribs.
