摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection recording head which enhances controllability and energy efficiency by using a moving flow of a recording solution formed by the application of a voltage in such a manner as to have electrosensitive operation characteristics, and enables high-grade printing by controlling the discharge of the recording solution. SOLUTION: Negative electrodes 4 (41-4n) with a teeth-of-comb shape and positive electrodes 5 (51-5n) with the teeth-of-comb shape, respectively, are disposed in a discharge part 1 communicating with a discharge hole 2 so as to be paired with each other while facing each other. When the voltage is applied between the electrodes 4 and 5 to make the recording solution 3, which is housed in the discharge part 1 and provided with the electrosensitive operation characteristics, discharged as droplets from the discharge hole 2 for the purpose of printing, the application time and voltage of a pulse voltage applied between the electrodes 4 and 5 are changed so as to control the discharge of the recording solution 3. Additionally, after the application of a pulse for the discharge of the recording solution 3, a pulse opposite in polarity to the above pulse is applied for the purpose of enhancing the controllability of the discharge of the recording solution 3 and enabling the high-grade printing.
