PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the polarization state of a piezoelectric body from deteriorating during manufacturing in an ink jet recorder to eject ink by the piezoelectric body. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, a flexible flat cable mounted with a driver IC57 is soldered to a piezoelectric actuator for the ink jet head 55. The VDD2 to be connected to an ejection power source is connected to a power source having ejection voltage of equal value, while a lead wire VSS3 to be connected to the electrode on the reverse side of a driver IC57 is connected to a power source VCC2. Since polarization is performed using both bower sources after the piezoelectric actuator is connected to the flexible flat cable, there is no deterioration in polarization. Furthermore, since the power source VCC2 is carried out by reducing the potential of the lead wire VSS3, no high voltage is applied to the driver IC57 so that the driver IC57 is not damaged during polarization.
