<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of infinitely adjusting the position during the pause of a drum beater with respect to a drum surface. SOLUTION: An assembly for beating the drum has a frame 10 which includes at least one rest 11, an axle 18 which is supported by the rest so as to rotate relative to the rest and has an axis of rotation and a pedal 31 which is operatively connected to the axle so as to rotate the axle and the beater according to the movement of the pedal. The frame includes a base plate. The drum beater is provided with a clamping arm for clamping a drum rim, a means for supporting this arm so as to pivotally move the arm relative to the plate and clamping the rim and a freely adjustable first member for freely pivotally movably adjusting the arm.</p> |
