By-products arising as a result of fatty-acids-methyl-ester production from vegetable oils (i.e. bio-diesel production) as sunflower husks and contaminated glycerol are combusted together in an economic energy production process. Contaminated glycerol may be combusted with various other solid wastes in alternative power plants.
