摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability and reduce costs for preserving an integrated value of a traveling distance after the occurrence of an abnormality, in an on-vehicle system having a plurality of electronic control devices. SOLUTION: An ECU 10 and a TCU 50 are connected to each other via a serial bus 100, and an output port of an I/O interface 55 of the TCU 50 and an input port of an I/O interface 16 of the ECU 10 are connected to each other. Thereafter, the reliability of a data preservation and a cost reduction are enhanced without furnishing EEPROMs on the individual electronic control devices by writing into the EEPROM 14 trouble data and the traveling distance integrated value of a backup region of an RAM 13 before a system stop by a self-shut function, by lighting an MIL lamp 3, by storing the trouble data to the backup region of the RAM 13 and by integrating the traveling distance after the abnormality occurs in the case of detecting the abnormality of an ECU system or of the TCU system on the ECU 10.
