摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner producing method capable of obtaing toner with which high image density is obtained from its initial stages and even after it is left as it is under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment and further which is excellent in transfer efficiency. SOLUTION: In this toner producing method, coarse powder is finely pulverized by a pulverizing means so that fine powder is obtained, and the toner whose weight average particle size is 4 to 12μm is produced from the obtained fine powder. In the method, the pulverizing means is a mechanical pulverizer, and is provided with a stator 310, and a rotator 314 attached to a center rotary shaft. The stator includes the rotator, and the rotator is arranged so that the surface of the stator and the surface of the rotator have a specified gap, whereby a pulverizing zone is formed. In the pulverizing zone, the coarse powder is finely pulverized with the rotation of the rotator, and the rotator and the stator have a projecting part in specified corrugated shape and a recessed part between the projecting parts, and the recessed part of at least either one of the rotator and the stator has a flat surface at its bottom part.</p>
