PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument and a method for measuring an irreversible circuit element which can accurately measure electrical characteristics, without damaging the irreversible circuit element and which are suitably automated. SOLUTION: The measuring instrument 1 for a surface-mounting type irreversible circuit element (isolator) is composed substantially of a block 2, air cylinders 3a and 3b provided to the block 2, sliders 4a and 4b, terminal-pressing claws 6a and 6b, and a circuit board 7 for measurement. The block 2 has a horizontal pedestal part 20 for mounting the circuit board 7, for measurement at its center part and the horizontal pedestal part 20 has a couple of oblique parts 21a and 21b arranged into almost a V-shape at both its end parts. A tilt angleθof the oblique parts 21a and 21b is set in the range of 30 to 90 deg.. |
