SOLID LUBRICATING COMPOSITION AND POLYMER LUBRICANT- SEALED ROLLING BEARING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid lubricating composition scarcely leaving a gap when carrying out sealing and molding into the interior of a bearing without increasing rotation torque of a rolling bearing when sealed in a polymer lubricant-sealed rolling bearing and without causing seizure during rotation of the rolling bearing and to provide the polymer lubricant-sealed rolling bearing comprising the composition sealed therein. SOLUTION: This solid lubricating composition is obtained by regulating the kinematic viscosity of a lubricating oil which is a base oil to be mixed with a polymer to a low viscosity of 10-200 mm2/s at 40 deg.C and compounding an extreme-pressure additive and/or an abrasion preventing agent with the lubricating oil. Thereby, the viscosity of the solid lubricating composition (polymer lubricant) 5 before solidification can be reduced to spread the composition into all the corners in the interior of the bearing. The rotation torque of the bearing is simultaneously reduced and the seizure is prevented by the presence of the extreme-pressure additive and/or abrasion preventing agent.
