RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD AND TIRE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve grip performances on the ice while keeping abrasion resistance of tire. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for tire tread comprises 100 pts.wt. of a diene-based rubber and 3-30 pts.wt. of a poly(2,6-dimethylphenylene oxide) having 1-500μm average particle diameter. The tire is obtained by using the rubber composition.
