PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program delivering method, capable of increasing the reliability of a system by preventing the method from affecting information services and efficiently and surely downloading a new program also for a plurality of clients though, in the conventional program delivering methods, when the number of clients to be connected is large, a download time becoming long and the operation of services being limited. SOLUTION: In this program delivering method, the version of a program under operation is transmitted from a client 3 to a server 2, and the server compares the version of the program under operation with the version of the new program, when the server 2 is not in operation; when the version of the program under operation is older than that of the new program, the program of the new version is downloaded in the client 3; and when the switching date is expired, when today's date is compared with the switching date, switching command is delivered to the client 3. |
