DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COMPOSITING MOVING IMAGES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To composite the video of a video camera and a still image processed in the video camera. SOLUTION: A still image microcomputer 11 reads the desired still image in an attachable/detachable memory 16 and preserves it in an exclusive memory 21 in an image processing part 20. The image processing part 20 performs processing and generation in accordance with an operation pattern which is designated based on the still image and preserves it in the exclusive memory 21 as a moving pattern still image group. The image processing part 20 compares a still image signal read from the exclusive memory 21 in order with the video signal from the video camera in real-time, composites them and outputs it as a composite image signal.
