PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain related information of an object included in an image by simple operation. SOLUTION: An image processor comprises a display device 102 consisting of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), a position specifying device 106 for specifying a position on an image to recognize characters, a character recognition device 107 for recognizing characters included in a partial image including the specified position, a database retrieval device 108 for retrieving database based on the results of character recognition, an information display controller 109 for controlling the display of the information of retrieved database together with the image on the display device 102, a delivery image taking-in device 110 for taking in delivered image, an image input device 111 consisting of a digital camera, and a bus 118 for connecting each constituent part of the image processor mutually. |
