PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an overload current flowing in a coil of an electromagnetic contactor even when contact points of the electromagnetic contactor are separated when an air conditioner is stopped without inviting a cost increase by using a circuit included in the conventional air conditioner.SOLUTION: Electromagnetic contactor protection means 40 causes short-circuit between both ends of a resistor 28 through an electromagnetic contactor during operation of a motor 33 or a fan motor 36, releases both ends of the resistor 28 during suspension of the motor 33 and the fan motor 36, when a contact point 27b of an electromagnetic contactor 27 is released during an operation of the motors, cuts off a relay 26, cuts off a driving voltage of the electromagnetic contactor 27, and inhibits operations of the motor 33 and the fan motor 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
