摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for catalyst layer inspection for clarifying a concrete relation between an oxygen transport resistance, and a power generation performance, especially a battery performance under a high-current density condition in regard to a catalyst layer arranged by use of a catalyst little in platinum content.SOLUTION: A method for inspecting a catalyst layer for a fuel cell comprises the steps of: measuring the oxygen transport resistance of the catalyst layer by using the catalyst layer of which the platinum content per unit area of the catalyst layer is 0.15 mg/cmor less, provided that the catalyst layer includes a catalyst including a catalyst metal, which is platinum or includes a combination of platinum and a metal component other than platinum, a catalyst carrier supporting the catalyst metal, and an electrolyte; and determining the catalyst layer to be a conforming article on condition that the oxygen transport resistance is less than 10 s/m.SELECTED DRAWING: None
