PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video encoding system capable of reducing calculation processing in thinning-out transfer processing.SOLUTION: Left reference pixel holding means 101 holds a plurality of reference pixels located at a left side of an encoding target block. Transfer destination upper reference pixel holding means 102 holds a plurality of reference pixels of the same number as or a different number from the number of the reference pixels held by the left reference pixel holding means 101. Selection information holding means 103 reads out selection information corresponding to an input mode number. Selection means 104 accepts some reference pixels held by the left reference pixel holding means 101 and the selection information read out from the selection information holding means 103, and then, selects left reference pixels to be transferred to a storage section of a part of the transfer destination upper reference pixel holding means 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
