PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that enables a user to designate functions of a service provided by an information processing apparatus through a terminal device, even if the terminal device does not include a program dedicated for designating the functions of the service provided by the information processing apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: first reception means 11 that receives a request to send the name of a device identifying the own apparatus from a tablet terminal 2; first transmission means 13 that, when the request is received by the first reception means 11, transmits the names of a plurality of devices generated for each of functions of a service provided by the apparatus to the tablet terminal 2; first reception means 14 receives selection of one of the names of the plurality of devices through the tablet terminal 2; and provision means 17 that provides the service with the function specified by the selected one name of the device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
