PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte injection method and a device in a sealed battery capable of shortening the time for injecting electrolyte into an electrode active material and improving the productivity in an assembling process of the sealed battery. SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material 4 is annularly loaded in the internal circumference of a battery case 2, and a separator 6 is cylindrically loaded in the internal circumference of the positive active material 4. A cylindrical nozzle 20 having an outside diameter corresponding to the inside diameter of the separator 6 is inserted into the inside of the separator 6. The nozzle is provided with a plurality of hole parts 22 in its outer circumference, the outer circumference of the nozzle 20 is positioned close to the inside circumference of the separator 6, and the electrolyte seeping out from the respective holes parts 22 is absorbed by the separator 6. The injection of the electrolyte is extremely smoothly performed from the whole circumference of the nozzle 20 and completed in a short time.
