PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the deodorization performance of a deodorizer for decomposing and removing an unpleasant odor generated from rice at the time of keep warm and to simplify a structure in a rice cooker. SOLUTION: A deodorizer 17 is arranged inside a lid body 12 constituting the rice cooker and the deodorizer 17 is provided with a flow in/out port 20 used for both of the flow-in of a gas containing the odor generated from rice 18 and the flow-out of the gas in which the odor is decomposed and removed. By this constitution, the contamination of the deodorizer 17 by glutinous water generated at the time of cooking the rice is suppressed and the decline of the deodorization performance is prevented. Also, since the gas is made to flow in and out from one port, the structure of the deodorizer 17 is simplified.
