PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress ripple current and noise and seek small size and low cost in the lighting circuit that controls lighting of multiple discharge lamps. SOLUTION: In the discharge lamp lighting circuit that controls the multiple discharge lamps, a plurality (3-1, 3-2) of DC-DC conversion circuits for converting the DC input voltage into a desired DC voltage by ON-OFF control of a switching element are provided. Control signals are supplied from a control circuit 7 to each switching element that constitutes each DC-DC conversion circuit, and the control is made so that the continuity or non-continuity state of each switching element may be unsynchronized. |
