PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability and convenience of a fail-safe function in an electronic control unit and attain a size reduction of circuit, saving of the power consumption and lowering of the cost. SOLUTION: Individual unit circuits (101, 102, and so on) in the electronic control unit 100 installs only temperature sensors 101a, 102a, and so on for fail-safe. The extreme circuit 109 is newly provided for detection of excessive temperature, and by judging its output, on/off of a fail safe protective relay 109 is controlled. |
